About Veolia
This is a historic moment. Never before has humanity’s future been so closely linked to environmental concerns. This is urgent. Our climate is changing. Natural resources are running out and biodiversity is collapsing. We need to act now.
This is why Veolia aspires to a challenging purpose: ecological transformation.
Veolia is the UK leader in resource management.
We’re tackling the climate crisis through our comprehensive range of waste, water and energy management services that help build a circular economy and protect the environment for generations to come. We're innovators committed to carbon reduction through energy efficient solutions, preserving natural resources, protecting biodiversity, combating climate change and raising environmental awareness.
See the difference you can make
We know the climate crisis demands us to find radical, meaningful solutions. The Veolia graduate scheme will put you at the very front of this ecological transformation. Join us for the opportunity to make an impact that will be felt for generations to come.
All of our graduates are employed on a two year development programme. During your time with us you could be placed in any area of our business. You may stay in one area for the full two years, or move around to gain different skills and experiences every 6-12 months.
You’ll learn loads on the job through your day to day work but we’ll also give you the support to develop new skills. This learning will be delivered through virtual and face to face training alongside other Veolia graduates; setting you up for success from the start.
Personal development: psychometric insights, communications skills, personal brand, networking skills, 360 coaching and influencing and negotiation
Project management
Risk management: risk awareness, manual handling and fire awareness, IOSH working safely and environmental awareness.
How we’ll reward you
We reward your potential and commitment with a great package of benefits. As an employee on our graduate programme, you’ll get:
- a permanent contract
- a competitive salary
- 25 days annual leave
- an award-winning cycle to work scheme
- savings on many high street brands and shops
- a contribution to your pension as part of our company scheme
- additional personal development time
How to apply
To apply you will need to have a 2:1 (or higher) Bachelor’s degree in a related subject and be eligible to work in the UK. If you meet that criteria then we want to hear from you!
Apply online by following our application process. This keeps things consistent and fair for everyone. The application may challenge you, but don’t worry, it helps us to see your potential.
Following the online application, your next task is to complete gamified assessment challenges. If you are successful in this part of the process we’ll invite you to attend a virtual assessment day and then a face-to-face site visit.
At each stage one of our Early Careers team will be in touch with you to let you know how you performed and if we’d like to see you again. We know how important feedback is, so we’ll share constructive commentary regardless if you’re successful or unsuccessful.
Before you apply, the best thing you can do is make sure you understand the graduate programme and the development on offer. We also suggest following us on social media to see what we've been up to. A little research goes a long way.
